  • CAREER DEVELOPMENT I – II

         1/2 Credit Elective
         This course is meant to target freshmen and sophomores. It is designed to guide students through the basics of 
         career selection and employment. Students may receive tips to build on-the-job skills and to gain experience.
         This course can be helpful in developing a student’s IEP transition plan.

  • CAREER DEVELOPMENT III

         1/2 Credit Elective
         This course is meant to target juniors and seniors and is more in-depth than CAREER DEVELOPMENT I/II.
          It is designed to meet the individual needs of the students. The focus is on the career planning process.
         Students are guided through activities such as creating a career plan, becoming aware of job trends, applying for 
         jobs, writing a resume, interviewing for jobs, and developing job-site behaviors. This course can be helpful in 
        developing a student’s IEP transition plan.
