  • The Six District Educational Compact provides services to students with disabilities who are enrolled in Career Programs and College Tech Prep initiatives. Teachers, counselors and others, along with the Career/Technical Special Education Coordinator, work with students and parents to plan and implement specific goals, objectives and transition activities in the Career Programs and College Tech Prep initiatives to meet the students’ individual needs.

  • Project SEARCH is a one-year, site-based, school-to-work program located at Summa Health System. This model of Job Training Services helps qualified students make a successful transition from school to the world of work through hands-on learning experiences in real-work settings. Project SEARCH has grown from one site in 1996 at Cincinnati Children's Hospital to over 220 across 39 states and four countries.

  • The Kent State Transition Collaborative (KSTC) is an interagency collaboration of local public schools, community employers and the Center for Innovation in Transition and Employment (CITE) at Kent State University. The KSTC provides career exploration and work experience for high school students with disabilities at campus work sites and facilitates progress toward transition goals for employment.
