Getting the Binders Together

Thanks again to all who were able to attend or provide suggestions for the Parent/Teacher Collaboration Meeting this past Thursday. As a result of the meeting, it has been decided that it would be beneficial for parents to construct a binder that contains all the important information and documentation they may need when working with adult agencies such as DD or BVR as well as when applying for services such as SSI and other supports. Parents are encouraged to bring the following items:

-1 large 3-ring binder

-medical records

-forms of identification

-any other documents that relate to their child.

We will be meeting at CFHS (Mrs. Davison's Room 709) on Thursday November 10th at 5:00 pm where we will work with you to organize the binder. We will provide copies of all educational documents and other records you may not have access to, as well as dividers for the binders. We will also be able to make any copies you may need. A Remind notification will be sent out asking that you RSVP for this event. If you are unable to respond through Remind, please contact one of us so that we know you are coming.
